Microsoft has redesigned the individual device view in the Intune admin center. It is currently available as a public preview and worth enabling in your tenant today.

The existing device page is a collection of left-nav sections you jump between. The new design consolidates everything into a single full-page layout with tabs. Less clicking around, more context in one place.

The four tabs cover what you actually need during daily device work:

Properties gives you a clean editing view for admin-modifiable fields, with scope tags visible without digging.

The Essentials section sits at the top and is accessible regardless of which tab you are on. One less reason to switch tabs just to check a basic device attribute.

How to enable it

Go to Devices > All Devices and flip the Preview new device view toggle to On. That is all. No policy, no rollout, no tenant-wide setting.

One limitation worth knowing

The new view only activates when you navigate to a device through Devices > All Devices. If you open a device from a report, a compliance policy, or anywhere else in the admin center, you still get the old layout. Even with the toggle on.
